The building is located in one of Belgrade’s most central and historically important area.

The building declares it’s belongings to the 21st century keeping strong connections with original building from 1924 in the Art Nouveau style, as a bridge.

The value of this project consists in the originality of the basic operation, which opens to multiple interpretations about the relation to contemporary architecture with the past heritage. What is new? What is old? Can the new look older than the old or vice versa?

We are redefining the concept of `new luxury` in Belgrade. The arabesque once decoration, achieves structural capacities in the new structure- the ornament becomes structural. Glass curtain wall extends the building up to 5 stories and another 2 as a set back with balconies. Curved glass created a three dimensionality of the interiors and a stich between the main Park and the green courtyard.

Facilities, Services, Rooms

The 4-star hotel will have a personalized approach to servicing its regular guests who generate core hotel revenue. There are 39 rooms and 6 apartments ranging from 18-46 sqm, with average room size of 29sqm. They are divided into single, doubles, Junior Suites and Suites.

Townhouse is situated in the Wimpole St in the very center of London, just few minutes by walk from the Oxford St, busiest shopping street. Unlike the very dense Oxford Street, the Wimpole Street is quiet and noble area well known for its well-settled doctors.

Townhouse is one residential space composed by 6 apartments trough 2 buildings, 23 and 24 Wimpole St. We designed central torus as main spiral skeleton that links different spaces. We found inspiration in project of tower done by Melnikov, one of the most prominent architects of Russian avanguard time at the beginning of 20th century. We treated central „tower“ as outside spine that is starting as mezzanine, convert to helical staircase, transforms to lounge bench and at the end becomes curved wall. Introducing central torus, we keep max diversity of each space as clear intimate environment. Townhouse is place where mix of inside outside happens. Interiors of each room: living, saloon, children, master, nanny, kitchen, cinema, spa, bathrooms, are designed as self-contained world with it’s own character.

The house is situated in Archam, one hour by car from Genève. From back side are the Alps reefs and the front is orientated over the valley. The existing house was built in 70ies by French architect that later pursued in the troglodyte, bubble architecture style.

Main task was to extend
the original house for up to 1500 sqm and at the same time to preserve existing house as much as possible.

This architectural concept was simple maximize: SPACE, LIGHT and VIEWS. It brings light and air into the interior and blurs the distinction between inside and the outside. The house becomes room less, the space is based on the continuity of spaces and of the circulation of this organizational system. It is all together Integrated into landscape and is very much open to the city below.

The glass section in the middle of the house now represents direct communication and cohesion between two parts of house- day and night zone and has large importance and role in new house. Various orientation and views of central part of the house- “winter garden” now have better seasonal recuperation of light.

Direct and indirect connections to nature have totally transformed the house. Glass panel walls completely open the house, the house becomes a platform defined by abstract roof plane, a palette of natural materials, hillside, garden and the view. *This house, at the same time confronts strong mountains and rises above the Geneva Lake and sinks into the landscape and surroundings.
This house respect tree principals of special connections: the Envelope, the Terrestrial progression, the Space delimitation with The site (ground, slope, vegetation) . The platform that surrounds the house is made so it connects all points of house exterior and when it’s made green it unite the house perfectly whit landscape.

A proposal for a unique holiday resort on the Montenegrin coast just few minutes from the Croatian border so called ‘Prevlaka’. The intention of the project is to provide a green experience while creating a comfortable resort with many amenities. The site is virtually car-free and the buildings are constructed with modern sustainable techniques. Two distinct parts are connected with a bridge that serves as entrance, symbol of identity as well as a unique experience. Mimoza Garden is very green and almost hidden in the slope. Mimoza Ridge sits like a rock formation on the ridge. A rich nightlife can be found on the coast next to a Marina.

During the 1990s illegal settlements began to grow at the edges of the Modernist blocks of New Belgrade.

During the summer of 2011 the City Council has launched an open competition for social housing in the street of Dr Ivana Ribara which presents a physical division between the regulated municipality and the unknown of the Greenfield where the illegal settlements are.

As one of the main issues is the division between existing opposites, it was important to bridge this and create interaction between existing and new settlement.

Therefore, Sinestezia gave a proposal for the inclusion of the new block through the creation of mutual cultural-economic dependence between existing and new. It is planned to be achieved by the creation of cultural and commercial amenities which the existing blocks of New Belgrade lack. The residents of the new social housing will find their place in the community of New Belgrade.

Secondly Sinestezia aimed to make a balance between attractive, affordable, unusual and modular to fulfill strict requirements considering capacities and budget given by the Competition. Therefore, as the module, cube has been taken to provide maximum of effectives in production and cost efficiency. By horizontal and vertical repetition, as well as translation and rotation, urban set for the new New Belgrade’s block has been created.

All the blocks have been organized in the way to provide maximum of insolation and air flow. Three inner parks are organized as semi-private block’s amenities which are primarily designed for residents of the edging buildings.

Each flat has a small terrace and French window, while bigger flats with two to three rooms have their own loggia.

Finally, the proposal is striving to provide pleasant affordable environment for its future residents and to create link which will secure inclusion of old-new residents of New Belgrade.

This project examines contemporary architecture in Greece in the context of the urban, social and cultural changes being driven by globalization and rapid economic development. We like the idea to think that the present situation is a physical city and that we are building in a new social city. The building is made up of connected structures and includes 18 apartments, plus kitchenette, lounge, welcome, billiard space, barbeque space. The virus spikes create the space in-between the public and private areas of the housing complex and the neighborhood network. It is the semi-private space, the step between the street and the room. They include all movements, stairs, and elevators, shared spaces as sitting areas, dining and kitchen. They are trying to reach the skin of the building and bring light in. They penetrate the rooms and end up to cantilever balconies, another semi-public space of the rooms. Also these spikes can create a separate space in the room, more public one, maybe one that can open and close in times of the day or the month…becoming party space, exhibition space. This project expands the conventional focus on “housing” as a general economic or social condition to include examination of the individual dwellings for younger and its spatial contexts. Moving beyond the large scale, this project tries to demonstrate how importance of contemporary Greek culture attaches to the activities and environments of everyday life.

Savina bay is located just few minutes from the city center of Herceg Novi, in the vicinity od Savina Monastery –one of the oldest churches in the area and within pine olive threes.

Sinestezia undertook a developer’s role in this project and have gone through design development Phase, Discussion with Urban Planning Department of Herceg Novi in order to understand the possibilities of the site and create a terms of reference for the program that would lead the client finally to Permits.

We used the camouflage concept as a driving force in this project. The landspace became a tool that we have worked with. Topography rules the type and shape of houses. New topology arises using materials of the site. New ethno is born! We created 8 larger houses with central spa building with restaurant, terrace and public swimming pool. These houses could work as 4 separates apartments each of two villa’s depending on demands. The material palette we created for this project is available for every client.
